      I once stumbled on the difference between is and ==. Now I always remember: is checks identity, == checks equality.

      I got asked about mutable default arguments in functions. Didn’t know then that it’s a common pitfall!

      I didn’t know how Python’s GIL works. Now I always prepare one quick line about GIL and threading vs multiprocessing.
